Welcome to Cathedral Cherries
Cathedral Cherries is a family-owned farm located in the heart of Taggerty, just 90 minutes north-east of Melbourne’s CBD.
For over two decades, our roadside cherry stall has been a well loved stop for locals and visitors to the Murrindindi Shire, offering fresh cherries and our famous cherry ice cream.

We’re excited to be collaborating with Sustainability Victoria on an innovative project to repurpose waste cherries. This initiative aims to transform surplus cherries into new and sustainable products, ensuring nothing goes to waste while creating something delicious.

Keep an eye on our social media pages for the start of our 2024 cherry season.

Proudly family owned and operated
Meet Bob, the man behind Cathedral Cherries!

Bob began this family adventure 30 years ago, planting the first 5,000 cherry trees. Today, his sons Phil and Bobby have joined him, and the farm now counts over
12,000 trees.

Come harvest time, it’s more than just a family effort. Friends, relatives, and even 50 enthusiastic backpackers pitch in!

Our farm is all about family, work, fun and tons of cherries!

Sustainability Initiatives
Cathedral Cherries have always sought to farm sustainably.

Almost 30% of cherry crops end up in landfill. That's the equivalent weight of around 80 African elephants.

We needed to find a solution, and so this project focuses on transforming on-farm cherry ‘waste’ into new cherry products.
